The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks on Pakistani security forces in Kalat and Turbat, saying the assaults inflicted significant casualties.
In a statement issued to the media, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that the group’s fighters launched an attack in the Zawa area of Kalat, targeting Pakistani troops advancing in the region. According to the statement, six soldiers were killed in the assault, which involved the use of modern and automatic weapons. The spokesperson added that the intensity of the attack forced the troops to retreat.
The BLA further stated that its fighters carried out a second attack last night in the Aabsar area of Turbat, where a grenade was hurled at a military checkpoint near the board. The group claimed that the attack caused both human and material losses to the security forces.
Concluding the statement, the BLA spokesperson asserted that the organization takes full responsibility for both operations.
