Balochistan remains in turmoil as a wave of coordinated attacks on Pakistani security forces and state infrastructure enters its third consecutive day today. The attacks, claimed by the Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS), have intensified across the region, targeting military installations, convoys transporting minerals, and various security outposts.
According to BRAS spokesperson Baloch Khan, these attacks are a response to the events of March 27, 1948, when Pakistan forcefully occupied Balochistan. He stated that BRAS fighters have conducted over 48 operations since Wednesday, leading to numerous casualties among Pakistani forces and intelligence personnel. Several outposts of security forces have reportedly fallen under BRAS control.
A series of high-profile attacks across multiple districts for 3 days highlights the intensity of the Baloch-Pakistan conflict in the region.

- Kalat: A bomb attack targeted Pakistani security forces near Kalat Toll Plaza.
- Kharan: The Deputy Commissioner’s office came under heavy fire from unidentified assailants.
- Turbat: Armed individuals attacked a Pakistan Navy camp, intensifying hostilities in the region.
- Kech (Dasht area): Explosions were reported in various locations, including Kolwah, Pasni, and Jiwani.
- Barkhan: Unidentified militants established checkpoints in Rakhni, stopping and inspecting vehicles for hours.
- Naseerabad: Reports suggest that armed groups are patrolling the area, heightening fears of continued violence.
- Quetta: A bomb explosion on Double Road near a police mobile resulted in two deaths and injuries to 17 individuals, including police officers.
- Hub Chowki: A grenade attack at the City Police Station caused a loud explosion, shaking the industrial city.
- Keshangi (Noshki): A Pakistani security checkpoint was attacked by militants.
- Mastung: A Levies checkpoint in Karez Amanullah was ambushed, while in Choto area, CTD officer ASI Javed Lehri was killed in an armed assault.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Balochistan’s Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti have strongly condemned the ongoing attacks, vowing a stern response. In the wake of increasing hostilities, mobile internet services have been suspended across several districts, including Quetta, Khuzdar, Kalat, Noshki, and Mastung. The internet blackout is reportedly in response to protests organized by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee and the Balochistan National Party (Mengal), which initiated a long march from Wadh to Quetta.
The surge in attacks highlights the intensifying conflict in Balochistan, with BRAS making clear its intent to continue operations against Pakistani forces.
