Pakistan Army helicopters have been reportedly circling the skies over the Tump area of Balochistan’s Kech district since last night, amid reports of four individuals being forcibly disappeared.

According to local sources, Pakistani security forces allegedly detained four people and shifted them to an undisclosed location while the helicopters continue to fly the sky of town following an assault on Pakistani forces between Tuesday and Wednesday night.

The missing individuals have been identified as Farooq, son of Abdul Hameed, Ilyas, son of Abdul Hameed, Faris, son of Muhammad Karim, and Ibrahim, son of Ali, all of them belong to Dazin town of Tump. Notably, two of the missing men, Farooq and Ilyas, had previously been forcibly disappeared and later released.

Meanwhile, a heavy contingent of Pakistani forces is reportedly advancing in Tump, while helicopters continue to operate in the area as of the time of this report.

The escalation follows an attack on a Pakistani infantry unit last night, in which officials confirmed three casualties . The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a “pro-independence” armed group, has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan remains a serious concern. Human rights organizations allege that many civilians, often unarmed, are subjected to abduction and extrajudicial killings, particularly following militant attacks on Pakistani forces. The trend has sparked widespread criticism, with activists demanding accountability and justice for the missing individuals.
