In a recent incident in Balochistan’s coastal city of Gwadar, the Pakistani security forces have allegedly detained four brothers — Waheed Majeed, Hafeez Majeed, Waseem Majeed, and Nadeem Majeed — along with a young man named Asim from Pasni. The individuals were reportedly taken into custody by the authorities and moved to an undisclosed location.

The families of the detained individuals have expressed grave concern over their loved ones’ forced disappearance and have called for their immediate release. The relatives are demanding answers and transparency from the Pakistani authorities regarding the whereabouts of the detainees.

This incident is part of a larger pattern of disappearances in the region. Recently, 13 young men from Pasni were similarly ‘abducted’ by Pakistani forces from their homes, leading to widespread outrage among the local community. In response, the families of the missing individuals staged protests, even closing the Makran Coastal Highway as part of their demonstration to demand justice and the safe return of their loved ones.

In the midst of this turmoil, one of the missing individuals, a young boy named Ali, has been released, but the whereabouts of the others remain unknown.
