The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for two attacks in Pasni, Balochistan, stating that five Pakistani soldiers were killed and several others injured.

In a statement released on Monday, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said the group had targeted a Pakistani Coast Guard post and later attacked a military convoy using an improvised explosive device (IED)

The first attack took place at the main Coast Guard camp in Pasni, where the BLA said fighters opened fire on security personnel using automatic weapons.

“Several shells were fired from grenade launchers, which successfully hit the targets,” the spokesperson said, claiming that the assault had caused both human casualties and material losses.

The second attack took place in Bangla Bazaar, where BLA fighters reportedly planted an improvised explosive device (IED) along a military route.
“As planned, we planted an IED on the route of the occupying army,” the statement said.

According to the BLA, a Pakistani military convoy of three vehicles arrived at the scene following the initial assault, at which point a remote-controlled IED was detonated.

“One of the enemy army’s vehicles was hit in the blast,” Jeeyand Baloch said, adding that five soldiers were killed and several others wounded.

The BLA accused Pakistani forces of retaliatory actions, alleging that security personnel opened fire on civilians and carried out nighttime raids.

“The cowardly enemy army opened heavy fire on the civilian population while trying to hide its losses from the media,” the spokesperson claimed.
The group further alleged that several civilians were forcibly taken away in the aftermath of the attack.

The BLA accepted responsibility for both operations and reiterated its stance that it would continue to target Pakistani military personnel and their collaborators.

“We vow that the occupying Pakistani army and its collaborators will be held accountable for every atrocity committed against the Baloch people,” the statement concluded.
