The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for multiple attacks targeting Pakistani military forces in Kharan and Nushki, alleging that 15 soldiers were killed and several others injured.

The group also confirmed the death of one of its own fighters, Naqeeb Jamaldini.

In a media statement, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that BLA fighters launched an attack on a Pakistani military post in the Roteenko area of Kharan on February 9.

The statement claimed that automatic and heavy weapons, including grenade launchers, were used in the assault, resulting in the deaths of two Pakistani soldiers and injuries to at least three others.

The BLA spokesperson also confirmed that the group’s fighter, Naqeeb Jamaldini, also known as Maran, was killed in a clash with security forces in Nushki.

According to the statement, Pakistani forces besieged the Zorabad area of Nushki on the night of February 7 in an attempt to capture Jamaldini. However, he refused to surrender and engaged in intense combat.

The BLA claimed that before his death, Jamaldini killed 13 Pakistani soldiers and injured four others during the hour-long battle.

The group said that after running out of ammunition, Jamaldini took his own life rather than be captured, calling it an act of defiance in line with the philosophy of the “last bullet.”

The BLA described Naqeeb Jamaldini as an urban guerrilla fighter, stating that he had been associated with the group for eight months and was responsible for carrying out several attacks against Pakistani forces in Nushki.

The statement praised him as a symbol of resistance, reaffirming the group’s commitment to continuing its operations until Balochistan achieves independence.
