Seven people, including a woman and a child, lost their lives in multiple incidents reported across Balochistan on Saturday.
According to reports, unidentified armed men opened fire on a rickshaw near the Hub-Lasbela Canal, resulting in the deaths of two brothers. The victims were identified as Azizullah and Atta Muhammad, sons of Rahmatullah. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
In a traffic accident in the Shapuk area of Turbat, three people, including a woman, were killed. Local sources reported that Chakar Karim Dad, a resident of Shapuk, was traveling on a motorcycle with his wife and child when they were hit by an oncoming vehicle, killing all three on the spot.
In the Mutt Thingwani area of Sui Tehsil of Dera Bugti, a two-year-old girl lost her life in a hut fire. The blaze broke out while her parents were working in fields and reduced all their belongings to ashes.
The dead body of a man, later identified as Musa Khan, son of Qadir Bakhsh, was found in a hilly area of Kalat. Musa Khan had been missing for several days before his body, bearing gunshot wounds, was discovered. Levies SHO Johan has launched an investigation into the incident.
In another horrifying discovery, the body of a young girl was found at a garbage dump in the Brewery area of Quetta. Police have shifted the body to BMC Hospital for further investigation.
