A delegation led by Dr Mahrang Baloch, leader of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), met with the provincial president of the Awami National Party (ANP), Asghar Khan Achakzai.
The meeting was attended by senior ANP leaders, including Provincial Senior Vice President and Senator Nawab Arbab Umar Farooq Kasi, Provincial Additional General Secretary Abdul Bari Kakar, and Provincial Spokesperson Wali Dad Miani. Accompanying Dr. Mahrang Baloch were Farzana Baloch, Mama Rafiq, and other BYC members.
During the meeting, there was an in-depth discussion about pressing issues in the Baloch and Pashtun regions, including ongoing unrest, the issue of missing persons, border closures, military interference in educational institutions, and land seizures. Specific attention was given to the recent incident at Bolan Medical College, which led to the closure of the college and its hostels under the pretext of security concerns. Broader socio-political issues affecting the Baloch and Pashtun communities were also deliberated.
It was mutually agreed to collaborate with like-minded national and democratic political forces to devise and implement a unified strategy to address these challenges.
