A significant military operation involving a large number of ground troops aided by helicopters is reportedly underway in Balochistan’s Kech district.
According to local sources, a large convoy of military personnel entered the Dasht area at dusk and has been seen in locations like Sholeeg, Nagor, and Hor. Helicopters have also been spotted flying over the mountainous area of Syahiji, where the operation is said to be focused.
As of now, no official statement has been released by the authorities about the operation’s purpose or scope. There have also been no reports of casualties or arrests in the region.
In a separate development in Balochistan’s Mastung district, unidentified attackers reportedly targeted a Motorway Police office with a hand grenade. The grenade exploded with a loud bang after landing in the office compound located near Purana Kalat Road, close to the Bakra Mandi area.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far, and authorities have yet to comment on the incident.
