Pakistani forces have reportedly raided a home in Balochistan’s Khuzdar, injuring several people, including women and children. The incident has sparked a protest, with local residents blocking a major road in response.

According to local sources, the raid occurred early Friday morning in the Greesha area of Khuzdar. Those injured include Shah Jan, Gohar Deen, Muhammad Jan, Mayar, Muhammad Arif, and Munir Ahmed. Three women were reportedly injured by gunfire during the raid.

Eyewitnesses said that forces from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) confiscated two motorcycles, 200,000 rupees in cash, and eight mobile phones from the raided homes. They also allegedly vandalized the house and disabled the solar power system by shooting at it.

In response, the relatives of the injured, along with members of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), organized a protest, blocking the Gresha to Naal road and halting all traffic.

This incident follows a recent confrontation in Khuzdar where Pakistani forces allegedly opened fire on protesters. The protesters were demonstrating against the harassment and detention of women activists from the BYC, who were detained for wall-chalking in support of the ‘Baloch Raaji Muchi,’ a gathering advocating for Baloch unity and rights.
