The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) held a corner meeting in Dalbandin, Chaghi, to discuss the upcoming Baloch national gathering, ‘Baloch Raji Muchi’ (Baloch National Gathering), which is set to take place in Gwadar on July 28. The BYC members emphasized the importance of this gathering, urging the people of Chaghi to participate.
The Chaghi corner meeting comes only two days after the Baloch Yakjehti Committee held a similar corner meeting in Karachi’s Faqir Colony to spread awareness about the gathering and invited the Baloch community in Karachi to be a part of the gathering.
The BYC leaders highlighted that the Baloch people face daily ‘oppression’ through enforced disappearances, which sends a clear message of subjugation. They pointed out that the Pakistani state is committing ‘genocide’ against Baloch people at the borders, which makes resistance a duty for every Baloch. They said that Dr. Mahrang Baloch is organizing this gathering in Gwadar to unite all Baloch people so they can raise their voices for their rights.
On social media, Dr. Mahrang Baloch criticized ‘imperial’ mega-projects in Balochistan, such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), stating that these projects play a significant role in strengthening the state’s hand in the ‘genocide’ of Baloch people. She argued that these projects ‘exploit’ the Baloch population under the guise of development and fuel state actions against them.
Dr. Mahrang Baloch announced that the ‘Baloch Raji Muchi’ will not only stand against the ‘genocide’ and ensure the survival of the Baloch nation but also serve as a historic referendum. This event will declare that the Baloch people will not tolerate their annihilation and ‘genocide; under any circumstances.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee leaders urged the people of Chaghi to participate in and support this gathering by contacting the members and officials of the BYC’s Chaghi zone. The ‘Baloch Raji Muchi’ gathering is set to take place in Gwadar on the 28th of this month.
