Four people have reportedly gone missing from Dera Murad Jamali and Turbat cities of Balochistan, with one of them found dead.

According to reports, on Saturday night Pakistani forces allegedly arrested two people, Akhtar son of Khair Muhammad and Yar Muhammad son of Jalal, and shifted them to an unknown location.

Today, TBP news desk received reports that Yar Muhammad, who went missing two days ago, was found dead with marks of torture on his body. However, no information has been found about Akhtar son of Khair Muhammad, who went missing along with Yar Muhammad.

In another incident of forced disappearance, Pakistani forces allegedly detained two people from Turbat’s Koh-e-Murad area in the Kech district.

The detainees have been identified as Rafeeq Sawali and Faisal Sawali, employees of ATF. Family members said the forces tortured Rafeeq and Faisal and took them away. They also reported that the officials took away the mobile phones of all the people in the house.

It should be noted that cases of forced disappearances are increasing across Balochistan. Today, TBP received reports of six cases of enforced disappearance. Prior to this incident, four individuals forcibly disappeared from the coastal city of Gwadar.
