Hazara leader Haji Ramzan has been injured in a murderous assault in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan on Monday.
According to reports, unidentified assailants opened fire and seriously injured the Vice President of Balochistan Shia Conference Haji Ramzan in Hazara Town area of Quetta city. The attackers escaped unhurt from the scene.
The local sources told TBP correspondent that Haji Ramzan was seriously injured in the murderous attack outside his residence in Hazara Town and was shifted to civil hospital trauma center in critical condition and operated upon.
According to hospital sources, Haji Ramzan received three bullet injuries. Police has launched an investigation into the incident. However, the motive for the attack has not yet been determined.
It’s pertinent to mention that numerous members of the Hazara community have been targeted in multiple such incidents in the past. Several massive bombings and targeted attacks by religious extremist groups in Balochistan resulted in the killing of hundreds of Hazaras in the last decade.
