A female police constable and a levies personnel were killed in separate incidents in Quetta and Panjgoor on Wednesday.

The woman, identified as Sameera Jan, was a police constable posted at Alamo Chowk Police Station in Quetta. She died after being brutally beaten by her husband, Sanaullah, over a domestic dispute. The police arrested the suspect and shifted the victim’s body to Quetta Civil Hospital.

The levies personnel, whose name was not disclosed, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Gichk area of Panjgoor. The motive behind the attack is unknown and the levies forces have launched an investigation.
