Three separate attacks targeted Pakistani forces and installations in Balochistan’s Kech district on Saturday, claimed by “pro-independence” Baloch armed groups.

According to reports, unidentified people bombed a vehicle of Pakistani army with an improvised explosive device (IED) in Hothchat area of Dasht, resulting in the deaths. Sources revealed that the forces were targeted when they were heading towards the army camp after returning from a military operation in the town.

However, Pakistani military officials have not yet confirmed or denied the attack or confirmed any casualties. Meanwhile, a “pro-independence” Baloch armed group, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the aforementioned attack.

In a issued statement to the media, the BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said the freedom fighters of Baloch Liberation Army eliminated three personnel of the Pakistani military in an IED attack in Dasht, Kech.

Similarly, more than ten explosions rocked the Balochistan’s second largest Turbat city on Wednesday’s night causing picnic among the civilians.

The Balochistan Liberation Front, another “pro-freedom” Baloch armed group, claimed that BLF fighters fired five rockets at a Pakistani security forces post near Sangani-Sar, killing an officer and injuring two others on the spot.

“Following the attack, the defeated and frightened army lost their senses due to the best strategy of the Baloch Sarmachars (freedom fighters) and fired mortar shells on the general population” said BLF’s Gwahram Baloch.

The Baloch National Movement’s human rights wing, PAANK, has confirmed the BLF’s allegations against Pakistani forces for targeting the local population following the attack.

PANK in a post in “X” (formerly known as Twitter) strongly condemned the rocket attacks on civilian population by Pakistan forces in Turbat’s Aap-Sar and Sangani-Sar and expressed deep concern over the incident and demanded an immediate investigation into the incident.

In a similar development, the Baloch Nationalist Army (BNA) has claimed responsibility for demolishing the machinery of a government construction project in two separate attacks in Tump area of Kech district on Saturday.
