Pakistani law-enforcement agencies have allegedly forcibly disappeared a youth from Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
According to reports, Pakistani law-enforcement agencies detained a youth named Imran Jan son of Sawali, a resident of Hoshap area of Kech district, from Quetta, and subsequently moved him to an undisclosed location.
The youth was reportedly detained by Pakistani law enforcement agencies on January 3. His whereabouts remain unknown since.
It’s pertinent to mention that enforced disappearances continue to plague Balochistan for more than two decades, while the families of the victims have carried out numerous struggle, including the ongoing long March against “Baloch Genocide” in Islamabad — asking the state for the whereabouts of their loved ones, but the missing persons have neither been brought to the courts nor to the jails.
