Pakistani forces have allegedly forcibly disappeared a youth from Turbat, the second largest city of Balochistan.

According to reports, Pakistani forces allegedly forcibly disappeared a Baloch youth from Sangani Sar town of Turbat at 2 pm on Saturday and subsequently shifted him to an undisclosed location.

The missing youth has been identified as Shahabuddin, son of Abdul Wahid, a resident of Mir Yaqoob Mohalla in Absar.

Sanaullah, the elder brother of missing Shahabuddin, met Muhammad Yaqoob Josuki, the organizer of Haq-Do-Tehreek Balochistan in Turbat on Sunday and briefed him about the incident.

In this regard, M. Yaqoob told the media that on the one hand, our mothers and sisters are forced to stage a sit-in at the Islamabad Press Club for the recovery of their loved ones in this extreme cold and on the other hand, the state is busy in detention of more Baloch youths without any arrest warrant.

“We appeal to the state institutions to hand over the missing Shahabuddin to the police if he is guilty and present him in a court, Mr. Yaqoob said.

The government authorities or the district administration have not yet confirmed or denied the allegations.
