In Balochistan’s Mastung, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan has allegedly conducted a house raid and forcibly detained three people – while, the relatives blocked the RCD highway in protest on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
According to reports, ,the CTD has reportedly raided a house near DC Chowk and allegedly detained three people during the raid and subsequently moved them to an undisclosed location.
In response to the incident, the family members staged a sit-in protest on the Quetta-Karachi (RCD) highway and closed the road in front of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) House. The closure of the highway had led to queues of vehicles from both sides.
It’s pertinent to mention that a long march was launched from Turbat on Wednesday against the enforced disappearances of Baloch youth allegedly by Pakistani forces and the killing of missing persons in “fake” CTD encounters. The long march has been advancing from Panjgur towards Khuzdar district of Balochistan today.
