In a released statement, Dil Murad Baloch, the Secretary General of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) emphasized that the recent killing of seven Baloch youths within a week sends a clear message from the Pakistani state to the Baloch nation. It conveys that the life of a Baloch, in the eyes of the occupier, is expendable. The occupier can decide when and how to end a life, casting it away callously, labeling it a mere statistic or a casualty. To the state of Pakistan, a Baloch is perceived not as a human being with inherent rights but as a disposable and valueless slave. The state thinks that the discretion of the life and death of every Baloch is in their hands. Whether subjecting them to years of subservient existence, incarcerating them in dark torture cells, or brutally ending their lives with bullets and discarding their bodies, the state asserts its dominance.
He further said that the state of Pakistan is intoxicated with power and is trampling the Baloch like a drunkard and the blood of the Baloch is flowing like a river. The state may think that there is no one to ask, no one to compete, it is a nuclear power, the most powerful army in the world, but the state is mistaken in understanding that blood has power in itself. Blood continues to pursue his killer until he brings it to its logical conclusion. Although the Baloch may seem weak currently, history is in the process of being rewritten. For the first time, women have taken the lead in the public resistance of a nation. Where woman is the creator, the guarantor of human survival, filled with the spirit of love, for a woman, her child is the greatest love in the universe. She spends the night in the eyes for the slightest pain. She faces all the difficulties of life for the comfort of her son, but when a woman decides to resist for a great cause, she does not hesitate to sacrifice her precious things for the cause. She sings lullabies on his martyrdom.
Dil Murad Baloch added that the state of Pakistan has been defeated in the face of multilateral resistance. The Baloch women, leading public resistance, remain steadfast in their unwavering determination. The Baloch woman who took command of the public resistance, the state has become helpless in front of the irrevocable decision. This is the reason why the state is forced to change its strategies in the Baloch genocide and in crushing national movement. Until yesterday, it used to throw mutilated bodies of young people. Today it is killing youths in the name of fake encounters and using the name of CTD or Local Force instead of Army so that the State Regular Army is not blamed. But the blood of Baloch is shouting and saying that my killer is the state of Pakistan and the state forces. Today, the cry of a Baloch woman piercing the throne, along with dead bodies in the squares and intersections is conveying this message to the living people in the corners of the planet. “Our killer is the Pakistani state, no matter what name you call it, in any form, but we have identified the killer. Now we will not be deceived.”
The Secretary General of BNM said that we know that we have to pay a high price for freedom, but the state of Pakistan is incapable of understanding the history of national resistance. When nations decide to resist, they are never afraid to cross a river of blood. In these twenty years, the Baloch nation has proved that the secret of national existence lies in resistance and the flag of resistance will remain high until the achievement of the national goal.
