At least three Levies force personnel have been reportedly injured in an armed attack in Chaghi district of Balochistan.
According to the district administration, more than 10 armed men attacked a levies check post with sophisticated weapons in Gazzan area of Chaghi near RCD highway.
According to Assistant Commissioner Dalbandain, three levies force personnel were injured in the firing. The injured were identified as Havaldar Naeem, Constable Maqsood and Constable Abdul Malik.
As per AC, the Levies forces retaliated quickly. As a result, the attackers fled the scene but unhurt.
The incident took place late at night, and due to the remoteness of the area, it is difficult to estimate the damage caused by the attack.
