A young Baloch man was allegedly forcibly disappeared from Quetta city of Balochistan, on Wednesday.

According to reports, a large number of Pakistani forces’ personnel raided the New Kahan town at 04:00 a.m. and forcibly detained a man named Ali Gull s/o Haibat Khan.

It should be noted that the reports of forced disappearances continue unabated in Balochistan. Earlier this incident, three other youths reportedly went missing from different areas of Balochistan.

It is pertinent to mention various activist groups claim that from 45,000 to 65,000 people are missing from all over Balochistan. These groups and families of the “missing” individuals stated that many of the missing persons have been killed in fake encounters by the Counter-terrorism Department (CTD) and Pakistani law enforcement agencies.

While on the other hand, Pakistani law enforcement officials deny these allegations.
