At least twenty-six female students suffered burn injuries as a fire broke out at an academy in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, on Tuesday.
According to reports, at least twenty-six female students endured burn injuries as a fire broke out at the renowned Dr. Manoj Academy, known for preparing numerous students for the MDCAT entry test in Balochistan, in the Model Town area of Quetta.
After the fire broke out, fire brigade vehicles arrived at the scene, and all the students were evacuated from the building. The fire brigade is currently engaged in extinguishing the fire.
Meanwhile, sources at the Civil Hospital have confirmed that twenty-six affected students have been brought to the hospital in an unconscious condition so far.
The cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit. However, no casualties have been reported.
