In a series of separate shooting incidents across Balochistan, two individuals have been reported dead, and four others have sustained injuries.
In Dukki, a dispute over coal mine commission escalated when sons of Haji Abdul Samad Nasir opened fire, injuring paternal cousins Nematullah and Irfanullah in the Killi Haji Ali Khan Nasir area of Nasirabad. Following the initial treatment at a local hospital, the injured were transferred to Loralai for further medical attention. The accused reportedly fled the scene and are currently at large.
In a separate occurrence near the old livestock market on Habib Qila road, Masoom Khan and Naseebullah Hotak were injured due to indiscriminate firing. They received preliminary medical assistance in Civil Hospital Dukki before being shifted to Quetta for advanced care.
Moreover, a mishap in Loralai resulted in the accidental death of an individual named Farhat Khan, who was reportedly cleaning his pistol when it discharged unexpectedly. After the necessary procedures, his body was handed over to his relatives.
Lastly, in Khuzdar, Safar Khan, a resident of the Wadh area, was fatally shot by unidentified armed assailants. The police, after transferring the body to the hospital, have initiated an investigation into the incident.
