At least two natural gas pipelines and Pakistani forces vehicles were bombed by unidentified individuals in separate attacks in the Dera Bugti district of Balochistan on Monday.

According to details, Two gas pipelines of the Zainkoh gas field, well numbers 6 and 9 were targeted by unidentified persons in ZainKoh area of Dera Bugti with explosives earlier this morning which caused the suspension of gas supply to several areas.

Soon after the explosion, Pakistan law-enforcement officials reached the site and launched an investigation into the incident. Levies sources confirmed the incident and said that unknown “miscreants” had planted IEDs, which exploded blowing up gas pipelines.

Furthermore, Pakistan forces have been reportedly targeted in two separate bomb blasts as Pakistani forces are reportedly engaged in a large-scale military operation for 2nd consecutive day in the aforementioned area. However, the TBP could not ascertain losses occurred due to the attacks.

Meanwhile, The “pro-independence” Baloch armed group Baloch Liberation Tigers also known as BLT in a media statement took credits for blowing up two gas pipelines and targeting Pakistani forces convey in separate attacks in Dera Bugti.

The BLT spokesperson Meeran Baloch said that Baloch Sarmachars (Freedom Fighters) destroyed two 18-inch diameter gas pipelines going from well number 9 and 6 to the Loti gas field. The spokesman further said that in two separate operations in the Landov area, Pakistani army convoys were targeted by remote-controlled bomb attacks, in which two vehicles of the Pakistani army were completely destroyed, and a total of eight personnel were killed and several were injured.
