Five individuals from Punjab were reportedly abducted by armed men in the Harnai district of Balochistan on Friday.
According to eyewitness accounts provided to TBP, the armed group set up a makeshift checkpoint at Ziarat Cross on the main highway. Several vehicles were stopped, and out of those intercepted, five individuals were reportedly detained and subsequently taken to an undisclosed location. The identities of these individuals, as well as the motive behind their abduction, remain unknown.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) maintains a notable presence in the region. According to various sources, snap checkpoints frequently emerge, primarily targeting Pakistani army personnel and associated individuals. However, it is yet to be confirmed if this specific incident is directly linked to the BLA or another group.
