Ghulam Farooq, a resident of tehsil Zehri in Khuzdar, has been found dead on Qambrani Road, Quetta. The body was discovered near a grape garden and was taken to the Civil Hospital.
Mr. Farooq, who had relocated to Mastung to seek work, was reported missing on October 27, 2022. He frequently travelled between Mastung and Manguchar for labour opportunities, aiming to provide for his family.
According to local sources, on the day of his disappearance, Mr. Farooq was reportedly taken by Pakistani security forces from the central highway of Mastung. Following his disappearance, efforts by the family and local community to ascertain his whereabouts yielded no information until the discovery of his body.
