Multiple attacks against Pakistan armed forces and its “operatives” were reported in different areas of Balochistan on Monday — Baloch armed groups took responsibility for the attacks.

According to reports, unidentified armed men opened fire and seriously injured a man named Sufyan son of Abdul Hameed in the Sagani-sar area of Balochistan’s Turbat city. The injured was immediately shifted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was a resident of Pakistan’s Karachi.

The police launched a search operation in the area after the incident. However, the attackers escaped unhurt.

Similarly, unidentified armed motorcyclists shot dead a non-local at the Johan Cross near Manguchar area of Kalat district on Monday night.

Soon after the incident, the Levies forces reached the spot and shifted the corpse to DHQ Hospital.

Later in a press release, a Baloch insurgent group, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) took responsibility for both killings and alleged that both men were working as spies for the Pakistan Army.

Meanwhile, another Baloch armed group, the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) in a media statement claimed responsibility for targeting Pakistani forces’ outposts in two separate attacks in the Awaran and Panjgur districts of Balochistan.

The group’s spokesperson Mjr. Gwahram Baloch said in the statement that BLF fighters have inflicted heavy losses of life and property upon the Pakistan army in these attacks.

Whereas, the Pakistani armed forces or local authorities have not confirmed or denied the reports of these attacks yet.
