A large number of traders were captured and moved to an unidentified location by Pakistani forces during an operation on Wednesday in a market in Kalat’s Mangchar area.

Regional sources claimed that a Large number of forces reached and violently attacked the market and detained a number of shopkeepers. The names of the aforementioned individuals are yet to be verified.

On Wednesday, two Pakistani military personnel were slain during an attack by armed men at Johan Cross in Mangchar. The deceased officials have been identified as Naik Sajid Ahmed and Naik Bacha Rehman Khan.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack.

According to a statement released by BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch, the spokesperson stated that in an armed attack their fighters killed two soldiers of the “occupying” forces riding on a motorbike.

Jeyand Baloch further stated that the aforementioned personnel were carrying medicine to the injured ones in Johan Camp when the freedom fighters targeted them.

The BLA also took responsibility for the grenade attack on Pakistani forces on Sariab Road in Quetta on Wednesday night. In the aforementioned attack, two members of the armed forces were injured.

Another grenade attack was aslo carried out on a stall selling Pakistani flags on Quetta’s Joint Road today.

According to SSP Operations Zohaib Mohsin, six people were injured in the blast, including two police officials.

He claimed that an exchange of fire occurred between the attackers and the police, but that the accused managed to flee the scene.

As per SSP Operations, there is a security alert in effect for Independence Day, and plainclothes police officers are conducting surveillance throughout the city.

Later on, BLA claimed the responsibility of grenade on stall selling pakistani flags.
