At least four people were killed and nine, including women, were injured in various firing incidents in different districts of Balochistan.
According to details, three people were killed and six others, including a woman and a young girl, were injured in an exchange of fire between two groups in Pishin area of Balochistan. The situation in the area is tense after the bloody skirmish between the groups.
The incident took place near Pishin Kali Karbala bypass between the sons of former MPA Syed Liaquat Agha and Syed Abdul Rab Agha.
The deceased include two sons of Abdul Rab Agha, while former MPA Liaquat Agha’s brother was also wounded in the clashes.
Similarly, Mohammad Bilal Chanjani was shot dead while his brother Ghulam Haider Chanjani was seriously wounded in a clash between the Chanjani tribes over a land dispute in Goth Meeran Bakhsh Chanjani under Dera Murad Jamali Mangoli police station limits.
The Mangoli police have reportedly arrested the suspects involved in the firing and took the body and the injured to Civil Hospital Dera Murad Jamali. After the necessary forensic and legal procedures, the body was handed over to the heirs and further action has been taken in this regard as per police.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured in a collision between a tractor and a car on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway in Kalat district of Balochistan. Further details of the incident are yet to be substantiated.
