Pakistani military forces and oil and gas company site were targeted in two separate attacks in Kalat and Khuzdar districts of Balochistan — BLA took responsibility for these attacks.
According to reports, unidentified persons targeted security personnel guarding the under-construction government building in a grenade attack.
The incident took place in Civil Colony of Khuzdar city on Wednesday night.
Two police constables, Muhammad Zahid and Hameed were wounded in the hand grenade blast. Gunfires were also heard at the time of the blast, sources said. However, government officials have not yet commented over the incident.
Soon after the attack, Pakistani law-enforcement forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Where the forces conducted house raids in the area.
Meanwhile, unidentified persons torched the machinery of an oil and gas company in the Harboi area of Kalat district.
After the attacks, a “pro-independence” armed group, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) took responsibility for the aforementioned attacks in a media statement.
