Amnesty International said in a statement that it fears Iranian authorities might hang seven prisoners arrested in times of protests.
The letter released by Amnesty International calls on Iranian Authorities to stop the persecution of prisoners in connection to nationwide protests.
Amnesty International also expressed concerns for many other prisoners who might face similar consequences.
Amnesty International Iran released the names of the seven prisoners who are under sentence of death in connection with protests.
The victims include Ibrahim Narohi, Kabir Karwat, Manuchar Mehman Nawaz, Mansoor Damarda, Muhammad Qabadlo, Mujahid Kourkour, and Shoaib Meer Balochzai.
Three of the seven victims belong to the Baloch ethnic minority, and are residents of Western Balochistan, while the other four belong to Iran’s Kurdistan region.
It must be noted that the Iranian authorities have hanged dozens of Baloch people in the past few months.
