Unidentified men hurled a grenade at a police station in Sibi district of Balochistan on Thursday night.
According to sources, a policeman named Amir Bakhsh was injured in the attack. Policemen shifted the injured personnel to district headquarters hospital Sibi for medical treatment.
The attackers fled unhurt from the spot after the attack. After the blast, security forces cordoned off the area and started an investigation into the incident.
Such attacks on security forces in Sibi and its environs in the past have been claimed by the “pro-independence” groups. However, the responsibility of Thursday’s attack has not been taken by any group yet.
