Pakistan army reportedly raided the house of Balochi poet and a journalist in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, on Friday.
The raid was conducted on the house of a Balochi language’s poet named Ayub Israr Alias Wahag Niad. He is a senior member of the Baloch National Movement (BNM). Whereas, the house of a local journalist known as Safar Khan was also raided.
According to sources, the Pakistani forces harassed the households during the raid.
BNM’s Central Information Secretary, Dil Murad Baloch confirmed the news in a Tweet saying: “Today, the Pakistani army raided the house of Ayub Israr (Wahg Niad), a well-known Balochi poet and senior member of BNM, in Bonistan area of Panjgur, took hostage the people in the house, harassed them and also inquired about their daughters.”
