Poisonous gas inside a well killed 4 labourers in Quetta, while 2 coal miners were injured by a landslide in Hernai, on Sunday.

According to reports, poisonous gas inside a well killed 4 labourers in Quetta’s Mariabad area. The victims were working deep inside the well when it suddenly filled with poisonous gas, Police said.

Initially, two labourers were working inside the well and became unconscious. The remaining two labourers also went inside the well to rescue them and they also became unconscious. All died inside the well because of the poisonous gas, police informed.

Three among the dead were real brothers. Rescue workers shifted the dead bodies to the hospital. The real brothers identified as Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Rahim and Muhammad Taqi. However, the fourth labourer identified as Abid Ali. The ages of the victims were between 20-years to 26-years.

Where in another incident, a landslide seriously injured 2 coal miners in Hernai district of Balochistan. 

According to Levies sources, rescue workers reached the mine and rescued the coal miners. Injured coal miners were shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.

As per the Levies, the miners belong to the Killa Saifullah district of Balochistan, the miners were working deep inside the mine when hit by a landslide.
