Prominent Baloch author, historian and intellectual Professor Aziz Mohmmad Bugti passed away on Tuesday.

Bugti had authored many books in Urdu and Balochi language, including Nod-o-Rugam, Blochi Urdu Bol Chaal,
The Tribal System of Balochistan, History of Balochistan and several others. His most famous work is Balochistan In The Mirror Of Personalities, which details the influence prominent Baloch personalities had in the development of Baloch history.

Professor Bugti played a crucial role in the development of Baloch academy. He also served as a professor of political science at the University of Balochistan.

Professor Aziz Mohammad Bugti also served as the secretary under Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti in 1988.
