Levies force has claimed to recover a huge quantity of arms and ammunition in Mastung district of Balochistan on Saturday.

According to levies sources, the weapons recovered from the Dasht area of Mastung.

The weapons include 5 RPG-7, 20 RPG-7rds, 2 machine guns and other explosive materials.

“The miscreants had dumped the weapons to carry out subversive activities in capital and other cities of Balochistan and target the law enforcement forces,” Levies officials said.

Acting on a tip-off, Levies force conducted the raid and recovered the weapons, the force claimed. However, no arrest was made during the intelligence-based operation.

Levies also claims to have recovered weapons in another tehsil of the district. The force said, it has recovered 2 motorcycles loaded with weapons near Dab levies check post.

Law enforcement agencies have intensified their operations against the miscreants across Balochistan, officials said.
