The demand to end the war and then start inter-Afghan talks is illogical, Afghan Taliban said.

According to details, Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that it was important to start inter-Afghan talks after the Doha agreement, as we were looking for ways to reduce and end the war.

The spokesman said that the demand to end the war and hold talks is an irrational demand. According to Zabihullah Mujahid, they have no other option but war.

Pointing to the Ashraf Ghani administration, he said that if no one wants the war, then why are they obstructing the negotiations? It iis now necessary to allow the Afghans to come to an agreement through political understanding, for which Afghan people and the international community have also demanded, he added.

Taliban spokesman said that irresponsible, irrational talks and baseless allegations would not solve the problem.

He demanded that the prisoners be released as soon as possible so that inter-Afghan talks could begin.
