Pakistani security forces reportedly abducted a leader along with a member of Jeay Sindh Tehreek (JST), in Karachi city.
According to details, Jeay Sindh Tehreek’s central leader Syed Masood Shah was taken into custody by Pakistani forces along with a party activist, Shaukat Markhand and shifted to an unknown location.
Syed Masood Shah has been active in raising the voice of forced disappearances in Sindh and has been playing a leading role in the case of Irshad Ranjani, a leader of the Jeay Sindh Tehreek in Karachi.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Safdar Sarki, Chairman of the JST and Acting Chairman, Abdul Fateh Chana, have appealed against the disappearance of the party leader and activist.
The JST organized a protest rally in Bhens Colony Karachi on Saturday, where the clashes between the Karachi rangers and party members had been reported.
Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh, leader Sorth Lohar has condemned the forceful disappearance of Masood Shah and Shaukat Markhand and has demanded their immediate release.
