Two of the Missing Persons hailed from Noshki district and were abducted in 2015
According to the reports received by the Balochistan Post, three more Baloch Missing Persons released today reportedly by Pakistani forces, who were abducted 4 years ago.
Among the released men, two—Kabir Ahmed S/O Sher Muhammad and Ejaz S/O Khuda Daad—were abducted on 8th April in 2015 from Kili Qadir Abad area of Noshki district.
The third missing person, who was released today, was identified as Bashir Ahmed. Details about his abduction date and location could not be confirmed immediately.
However, according to sources, Mr Bashir was abducted four years ago by Pakistani forces.
It is pertinent to mention, since the beginning of new year, more than a dozen of Baloch Missing Persons have been released by authorities, which the analysts consider a confidence-building measure between Balochistan government and Voice for Baloch Missing Persons—an organization of relatives of Missing Persons.
Following the release of Missing Persons, Balochistan government, however, succeeded in persuading VBMP to suspend their protest for two months.
Whereas, in a statement today, Mama Qadeer of VBMP said that their protest was not ended and camp will stay intact and they would be sitting there.
“They came to us and we showed them respect, but our protest and movement has not ended, if they abduct a single Baloch during this two month’s period, our protest will be intensified”, said Mama Qadeer.
