Ustad Aslam was among the top leaders due to his skills and sacrifices’ said Dr Allah Nazar Baloch
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Baloch nationalist leader and head of BLF, a pro-freedom militant organization, Dr Allah Nazar Baloch, in a statement while paying tribute to Ustad Aslam Baloch and colleagues, said that martyrdom of Aslam Baloch, Sardaro aka Tajoo, Karim Marri, Sangat Akhtar Baloch, Farid Baloch and Sadiq Baloch is definitely a national loss. It will take ages to repair this loss. But Ustad Aslam Baloch was a leader of such a caliber who has built a cadre of youth who will fulfill their mission at all costs. Mission of martyrs including Ustad Aslam Baloch will continue to till the establishment of an independent Balochistan.
He said that losing an old cohort like Ustad Aslam Baloch in such days of turmoil is very saddening. But the enemy state, Pakistan, must not have the misconception that it will crush the Baloch movement for national liberation. Many prominent leaders including Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, Mir Balach Marri, Saadat Marri, Dr. Khalid, Dr. Mannan, Lala Munir, Sher Muhammad and many others were martyred in this war. Instead of weakening it is strengthened and increasingly intensified the hatred against the enemy.
Dr. Allah Nazar said that Ustad Aslam Baloch’s struggle is a major pillar in Baloch movement. His services, capabilities and commitment to the Baloch cause for independence have been ideal and will be remembered in Baloch history with golden words. By having a leading role at difficult times, by placing the best strategies against the enemy through historical decisions, he inflicted the hardest blows to the enemy. He joined the Baloch struggle as common political activist and due to his capabilities and sacrifices he became one of the top tier Baloch leaders. He used to play his positive role in the ongoing movement since the day one and was firmly stood his ground till his last breath.
Doctor Baloch said that, Aslam Baloch was among the best comrades; he was a fierce warrior and a great guerrilla leader as well as served as a political tactician who kept guiding the Baloch with his writings, speeches and political circles. He has always been one of the prime targets of the enemy. He suffered severe injuries during a face to face combat in the battlefield. He was suffering from serious health issues. But despite his weak health and other problems, he played his role to the fullest. Finally the enemy killed him in a terrorist attack. These are the signs of Pakistan’s nervousness and psychological defeat against the Baloch independence movement.
