Higher education has a consequential impact on the development of student’s academic outcomes which is limited to books and seminars. However, Student Organizations take this period of time to facilitate and support students to improve their outputs including learning, experiences and shaping their leadership qualities, which plays a significant role for the whole community.

With the same concept, Baloch Students Organization was formed, in 1967. Baloch Students Organization is a student organization that campaigns for the students of Balochistan. But later in 2006, this organization was fractioned into BSO-Mengal, BSO-Azad, and BSO-Pajjar due to ideological differences.

In the 21st Council Session of Baloch Students Organization held on 25 & 26 November’ 2018, the Baloch Students Organization removed the superlative Pajjar form the Recognition of organization, so now Baloch students organization is only BSO without any superlative. BSO is a democratic and peaceful forum which strive for academic and educational rights in order to secure students legal rights, protect their academic, cultural and political demands inside and outside the campuses democratically. Baloch Students Organisation endeavor to get as many Baloch youths educated as possible and holds regular “study circles”.

On 5th of December’2018, The Baloch Students Organization marched against non-humanitarian and unlawful abduction of Senior Joint Secretary of BSO Jeehand Baloch at midnight on 30th November 2018 from his premises along with his father and younger brother Husnain by unidentified plane dressed men without a prior notice or arrest warrant. And later on, after a peaceful protest the Entire leadership of BSO including Chairman Zareef Rind, Secretary General Changez Baloch and Information Secretary Aurangzaib Baloch went missing and until now their whereabouts are unknown.

This crackdown against the whole leadership of Baloch Student’s Organization is a sheer clear strategy to create terror within Baloch students. Enforced Disappearance of Chairman BSO Zareef Rind and cabinet members is raised by international organizations too and shown solidarity towards the Baloch Students Organization and demanded safe release of Chairman Zareef Rind and entire cabinet members of BSO immediately but Pakistani Government pretend to be off the record and no effective measures are observed to stop enforced disappearances in Balochistan.

“There is no Justification for acts of Injustice”.
