Crushing plant was supplying crushed-stone for East-Bay-Expressway- BLF
According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, a crushing plant was attacked by armed assailants in Gokdan town of Kech district on Monday.
Around 11pm, armed men attacked the crushing plant, burning all the machinery and dumper vehicles at the site.
Balochistan Liberation Front, an armed separatist organization in Balochistan, claimed the attack on crushing plant.
Gohram Baloch, the spokesperson, said that the plant was attacked because it was supplying crushed-stone for the construction of East-Bay-Expressway.
BLF had previously vowed to resist the construction of the expressway and condemned the joint venture of Pakistan and China in the exploitation of Baloch resources and stealing the livelihood of poor fishermen with projects like the expressway in Gwadar city
