Several personnel of Pakistani military have been killed and injured in two seperate IED attacks in different areas of Balochistan.
According to local TBP correspondents, the IED attacks were carried out in Awaran and Kech districts of Balochistan.
In Awaran, a military truck, which was traveling as part of a military convoy, was targeted with an explosive device by unknown assailants in Peerandar area.
The site of the blast was soon cordoned off.
Later, the military sources confirmed that three personnel of Pakistani military were killed, whereas, eight others were injured in the remote-controlled bomb attack.
According to independence sources, the number of causalities is higher than the figures released by authorities.
In another similar attack, a military truck was targeted in Tump, Kech.
Security forces confirmed that two personnel were injured in the attack, while the front portion of the truck was completely destroyed. The injured personnel were rushed to nearby hospitals
There are conflicting reports about the actual number of causalities in Tump attack. However, TBP could not ascertain the real figures at the time of filing this report.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, however, Baloch armed groups continuously target Pakistani security forces in the region.
