Six fishermen drowned in the sea when a boat capsized in the middle of the deep sea in Sonmiani.
According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, six fishermen lost their lives after their fishing boat capsized dur to high waves in the middle of the sea near Sonmiani coast of Lasbela district.
Talking to media, the Inspector of Fisheries department told that the boat belonged to fishermen of Karachi who were fishing in the rough waters, it is when their boat overturned causing the tragedy.
According to the Inspector, the unfortunate crew comprised of 22 fishermen, out of which, 15 have been rescued and 6 dead bodies have also been retrieved, while one is still missing.
The search operation for the missing fisherma continued on Wednesday.
