Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) have claimed responsibility for a joint attack on Pakistani forces in Lijje, Kharan.

On Saturday, two personnel of Frontier Corps (FC), a subordinate force of Pakistani Army, were killed and 4 were injured in an attack on FC check post, in Lijje town of Kharan district.

Jeehand Baloch — spokesperson of Baloch Liberation Army — spoke with the media from an undisclosed location and claimed the responsibility for the attack on FC check post.

“It was a joint attack on by the freedom fighters of BLA and BLF,” said Jeehand.

“We attacked the check post in Lijje area of Kharan with automatic weapons, rocket launchers and other small weapons,” He added.

According to the spokesperson, the ambush resulted in killing two personnel and injuring four others, while also completely destroying the out post.

The twitter handle of BLA also tweeted about the attack.

Jeehand Baloch also vowed that such attacks will continue on Pakistani forces until Balochistan is a ‘free land’.
