Dead body of Baloch Student Organization Azad’s chairperson Karima Baloch’s uncle has been found in Tump, Balochistan. Karima Baloch also appeared on BBC 100 Women 2016 list.
Karima Baloch’s maternal uncle Noor Ahmed, a school teacher by profession, was picked up by personnel of Pakistani Intelligence agencies on July 28, 2016 and was missing since then.
His dead body was found on Tuesday from Tump in Balochistan.
“Mr. Ahmed had no political affiliations and was picked up to pressurize her niece from abandoning politics for Baloch rights,” a senior member of BSO-Azad told The Balochistan Post.
Khalil Baloch, chairman of Baloch National Movement, condemned murder of Noor Ahmed in a tweet:
I strongly condemn the killing of BSO Chairperson Karima Baloch’s uncle, Master Noor Ahmed, by Pakistani forces. After years of disappearance, his body was found dumped today.
