In history there are several examples that women have ruled in their countries with their high spirit and courage most of them commanded battles like Hazrat Aisha, widow of Mohammed peace be upon him, did in famously called Jang a Jamal.
Before BC Cleoptra had been a ruler of Egypt likewise several names are in modern history and they proved themselves as victorious rulers like Indra Gandi of India and Margret Thatcher of Britian.
Now come to my own land, which has born very famous, inspirational and eternal characters of Baloch history.
Banadi the sister of great Chakar a legend and ruler of Balochistan led the Baloch troops and participated in front line against enemy. Likewise, the mother of Qamber a hero in Baloch history advised her son go to fight against a plunderer who had abducted women as booty. This plunderer was Mehrab Khan, the king of Kharan.
In modern history particularly a young girl in a back ward and traditionally conservative society emerged as an inspirational and role model in Baloch society while facing all of troubles with courage and bravery. Her name is Karima baloch.
Being a girl student, she joined the Baloch Student Organization which has a long history in Baloch nationalist struggle. Many of BSO members got martyrdom and many were kept in notorious torture cells named Qulli camp in Shall (Quetta) during dictator Zia-ul-Haq. That time governor of Baluchistan Raheem-ud-den openly said if I do not crash the Baloch Students Organization then I will become a member of BSO.
Karima Baloch became a member of BSO during Dictator Pervez Musharraf regime. She did not care about the miseries and social critics kept continue her student politics in this difficult time in spite law enforcement agencies lodging cases against her and intimidating her too but she did not care about all these threats.
When BSO chairman was abducted in Quetta, Karima did not stop her struggle. Due to this British broad casting organization included her name in hundred influential and inspirational women.
Recently, her organization sec general Sana Baloch and member of central committee were also abducted. It did not weaken her resolute and courage.
Now she is in Canada in order to create awareness in the civilized world about the heinous war crimes and cruelties of Pakistani army.
There are a lot of women and girl students inspired by her and are joining the Baloch freedom struggle.
