A bomb attack on Pakistani security forces on Pakistan-Afghan border in Chaman has killed at least 1 and injured 22 others including security personnel.

According to details obtained by The Balochistan Post, the target of the attack was a vehicle of Pakistani security forces.

Levies forces have now confirmed the blast was a suicide attack on security forces.

The attack happened near a taxi stand.

The injured and dead have been shifted to district head quarter hospital and the Pak-Afghan border has been closed.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack at the time of filing this report. However, Taliban militants have remained active in Chaman, a sensitive town that borders Afghanistan, since fall of Taliban government in Afghanistan.
