Cases of enforced disappearance continue to be reported from different parts of Balochistan. Pakistani forces have allegedly detained and forcibly disappeared nine people, including two doctors, from Turbat, Quetta, Khuzdar, Panjgur, Kech and Nushki.
According to sources, two doctors, Dr Mahir Mazar, son of Mazar Rahim, and Dr Jamsher Baloch, son of Ganguzar, were reportedly forcibly disappeared during a raid by Pakistani forces on a house in the Absar area of Turbat on the previous night.

Meanwhile, Habib-ur-Rehman Baloch, son of Mohammad Ibrahim and a private security guard, was allegedly detained and forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from Killi Qambrani in Quetta.
In Khuzdar, Qadir Bakhsh Baloch, son of Haji Mohammad Ramzan and a resident of Baghbana, was allegedly forcibly disappeared while travelling from his home to the city the previous day.
According to his relatives, Qadir Bakhsh had previously been detained along with his children by the military in 2021 and subjected to severe torture before being released. He was allegedly abducted and forcibly disappeared again by a state-backed armed group in June 2026 and released three days later. The latest incident is reportedly the third time he has been forcibly disappeared.
In Panjgur, Basit Baloch, son of Mohammad Amin and a resident of Parom, was allegedly detained and forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from his home on 5 September 2026.
Three residents of Giben, Kech, Adnan Baloch, Mohammad and Ahmed were reportedly detained and forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces on 2 September 2026.
Meanwhile, Bakhtiyar, son of Abdul Salam, was allegedly detained and forcibly disappeared in Nushki on 23 August 2026.
It should be noted that many cases of enforced disappearance in Balochistan are not reported promptly due to alleged state pressure, fear and other obstacles. As a result, concerns have been raised that the actual number of enforced disappearances may be significantly higher than the figures reflected in reported cases.
