The Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, Professor Abdul Razzaq Sabir, along with three others who were abducted earlier this month near Mastung, have been recovered, according to reports.
The recovered individuals include Pro Vice Chancellor Syed Manzoor Ahmed, lecturer Shakeel Ahmed and their driver.
According to reports, the group had been travelling from Gwadar to Quetta when they were abducted by unidentified individuals near Mastung on 14 May.
Their abduction had prompted protests by teachers and students across educational institutions in Balochistan, calling for their safe recovery.
No motive was ascertained of their abduction and further details regarding the circumstances of their recovery were not immediately available.
